Questions, answered
Which styles do your artists cover?
Between the 12 artists, the shop covers black and grey, realism, Japanese, illustrative, portraits of people and animals, Polynesian and traditional work, plus fine line, ornamental, watercolor, vibrant color, anime, neo-traditional, new school and biomechanical styles. If a style exists, someone on this roster likely tattoos it well.
Can you work with my skin tone?
Yes. The studio works with all skin tones, and every tattoo is custom made to feature your ideas as a personalized design. During your consultation your artist will talk honestly about how colors and contrast will read on your skin and adjust the design so it heals and ages well.
How do I choose an artist?
Browse the roster on our Artists page, where each of the 12 artists lists their specialties, from Phil Carlucci's portraits and dragons to Jake Keller's anime and blackwork. If you are not sure, send the request form and ask us to match you, and the front counter will pair your idea with the right artist.
Do I need a deposit?
Yes. Your artist takes a deposit to secure your appointment, and it is applied toward the final cost of your tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable, but a cancelled or rescheduled appointment keeps its deposit when you contact your artist at least 48 hours before your appointment time.
